The “Casa della Fonte” is a characteristic stone built detached house. The house is 55 sq.metres, on three floors, fully refurbished using traditional raw materials in 2008.
The basement opens into the garden of 100 sq.metres. The garden has got a traditional tuscan veranda with pergola that provide shady areas for outdoor meals. The garden is well located and secluded from the surrounding neighburhood with lemon and olive trees and grapevines. The view from the garden is breathtaking and looks down to the valley and the hills of the fort of Verruca, down to Pisa and over the sea.
“Casa della Fonte” is in the “borgo di Montemagno”, Municipality of Calci, dating back to the VIII century, situated on the hills 14 km from Pisa and the airport. Montemagno is among a large plantation of olive trees. The town of Montemagno is still a medieval location and it is ideally placed to visit important areas of Tuscany, especially Pisa, Florence, Volterra, Lucca, and join the near beaches and sea |
